Tuesday is my favorite day of the week. Monday has been endured, but the week is fresh yet. There are still possibilities on a Tuesday. There is a snap of sibilance to the word “Tuesday.” So… welcome to CosmicTuesdays. When I update this irregular blog, I will update it on Tuesdays, with observations about astrology, reality and any “third eye/sixth sense” types of things I can think of. (If you are looking for general astrological forecasts or comments on the new moon’s influence this month, there are a number of excellent websites that do that, and I have links to a few on this blog’s home page.)

I am Anthony S. Picco, and have been a professional astrologer since 1986, with hundreds of readings and many hours of client counseling under my belt. I have explored various methods of astrology, and though always open to investigating new techniques, I like to think of myself as a “meat-and-potatoes” astrologer, preferring to rely on the traditional tried and true basics.

I am currently an NCGR (National Council for Geocosmic Research) member. I also teach informal beginner’s classes. I am also co-hosting an internet radio show called “What’s Your Sign? I Have Your Number,” with Sharita Star, every Monday evening from 7pm-9pm Eastern Time, on the Hey Z Radio Network .

I was also part of an astrology discussion panel on BCAT TV, Brooklyn Cable Access. And have appeared a number of times on both “Practical Astrology” on BlogTalkRadio’s Angels & Warriors station with host Dawn Tevy, and as a guest on the earlier version of Sharita Star’s “What’s Your Sign? I Have Your Number,” when it was on WBCR-LP 97.7FM, in New England, and I have lectured at The Eyes of Learning, “Long Island’s Oldest and Most Respected Teaching and Metaphysical Learning Center,” in Levittown, NY.

Once a month I am organize/host the NYC Astrology Meetup, held usually on the second Tuesday of every month at the Quest Book Store at 240 East 53rd Street, New York, NY, 10022. I do an opening astro chat for beginners, and then we have a new speaker each month. If you are in NYC, pop by. It’s fun and informative. You can register for announcements at www.meetup.com and joining “The New York Astrology Meetup.”

If you are so inclined & curious, I was born on January 14, 1954 at 12:04 pm on Staten Island. NY. I prefer Tropical Western astrology, and use the Alcabitius house system.

Contact me for an astrology reading via aspicco@gmail.com. Thanks to the wonders of Skype, I can now offer astrology readings internationally.

NOTE 1: although I encourage everyone to share the ideas & concepts I have written here, and I acknowledge that many of them have existed for centuries, the actual words themselves are © 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015 Anthony S. Picco. If you share the ideas, please reference my blog when you do. Thanks.

    • I respect Vedic astrology, but have little interest in investigating it. Is there anything in particular you wish to discuss?

  2. I am developing evidence based study on the theory established in the classical texts and trying to collect huge number of database on “Heart Disease”, Medical Fit Childless Couple, Overseas employment, etc.
My special field of interest dwells in Saturn’s influence on Natal Moon, what is called as “Sade-Sathi”.

  3. Nice Blog Tony!
I put it up on my computers “favorites” tool bar.
I’m a Scorpio and that’s all I honestly know about astrology.
